Bloom notes

How we run a wrap

Classic Bouquets is the seasonal cooler on the first sheet of Lark & Lily at 27 Sandringham Road. A florist meets you at the till about ten minutes before packing, covers stem count and how the message tray works, then walks you to the buckets. Once that cooler opens, two to six wraps have sixty minutes to compare palettes, choose a ribbon, and pick a delivery crate if you need a van run. Named holds stay on the stem sheet until Friday if you write before Thursday; a walk-in mix is only offered when a named hold has been released. The bench stays Classic Bouquets for that ticket. We do not swap it for Wedding Florals or Local Delivery because a group prefers a different colour after they arrive. Delivery notes come through mail from the dispatch desk. The florist does not substitute a featured bloom unless the cooler actually holds it. After the clock there is a short water check, then a recount of buckets before the next group. This page is a wrap note from an Auckland studio, not a ranking or a prize claim. We are a florist, not a wholesale market.

Classic seasonal bouquets on the Lark & Lily cooler after a stem recount

Classic Bouquets after the florist recounts the buckets

Lark & Lily opened the Auckland studio in March 2018 and has run Classic Bouquets as a standing cooler since the first market crate was sorted. The range is hand-tied seasonal stems after hours: buckets, a stem ticket, a message tray, and a short corridor that leads to the delivery table. Guests of two to six wraps share one clock. The briefing lasts about ten minutes and covers what you may choose, how to ask for a card, and when the florist will open the cooler early. We log the colour story, the stem count, and the start time on the sheet before the door closes. This page is a bloom note, not a catalogue that pretends every Saturday palette is still free. We do not run a remote warehouse. We do not rewrite Classic Bouquets into another story because a group asks at the door. If a stem or a ribbon set is out for restock, the florist says so in the briefing rather than hiding it on the ticket.

  • Wraps run for sixty minutes after a ten-minute colour brief for two to six bouquets.
  • Named holds stay until Friday if you write before Thursday.
  • The Classic Bouquets cooler stays on that ticket; we do not swap benches at the door.

A pair can shop Classic Bouquets, though four or five people usually share the wrap window more evenly. Six is the cap because the second cooler is tight and the message tray is built for one gift table, not two overlapping groups. The clock does not pause for photographs or for a late arrival from the street. If you need an extra weekday slot for a celebration party, write to [email protected] before Thursday so the named hold can sit on the sheet. Saturday extra slots go on the seasonal list from this studio, not on a walk-in board at the door. After the water check, the florist walks you back to the corridor while another designer resets buckets, stem tickets, and the card lids. Treat a sold-out stem as sold out until the sheet shows a release. This is an independent Auckland shop with live hours. We do not promise a bloom we cannot keep on that cooler, and we do not start the clock without the briefing.

Wedding Florals, Local Delivery, Sympathy Tributes, Desk Plants, and Gift Cards sit on other sheets. Gift Cards is a seasonal tray only and is not swapped onto a Classic Bouquets ticket. Desk Plants is a potting-heavy weekday slot with a different crate pattern. Sympathy Tributes is built for calm white and soft green palettes. We keep those benches apart so a guest does not treat Classic Bouquets as a stand-in for a bridal set or a plant gift. Later wedding months add Saturday extras from the Auckland studio; those extras are also separate from the everyday sixty-minute holds. If a stem, a ribbon sequence, or the briefing script changes, we rewrite this note. Until then, treat Lark & Lily as a booked studio at 27 Sandringham Road, Mount Eden, Auckland 1024, New Zealand, not as a list of coolers that never sell out. The florist on mail during packing is the same studio that logged your named hold. Recount checks happen between groups so the next guest finds buckets closed and stems tagged, not left from the hour before.
